Yul Edochie, a Nigerian movie star turned politician, is thankful for getting a second chance at life as he once again recounts his near-death experience after freak car accident a year ago.

Yul took to the micro-blogging platform, Twitter on Sunday, November 15, 2020, where he shared a photo from the accident scene.

It would be recalled that in 2019, Edochie was involved in a car crash.

The Nissan Pathfinder SUV, which Edochie was driving crashed beyond repair, the actor survived the crash with little bruises.

In a tweet, he wrote:

“In 2019 I actually died in this accident. My whole life was flashed before me in a second & a voice told me ‘it’s over’, then black out. But God gave me a 2nd life. This 2nd life is dedicated to helping people, making the world a better place & spreading the word of God.

In 2019 I actually died in this accident.
My whole life was flashed before me in a second & a voice told me 'it's over', then black out.
But God gave me a 2nd life.

WITHIN NIGERIA recalls that the popular actor shared the story in May when he took to his social media page to write;

“Immediately the car tumbled my whole life flashed right in front of me in a fraction of a second, and I heard a voice saying ‘Yul it’s all over if there was anything you wanted to do, sorry you can’t do it anymore’. My system shut down,” he wrote.

“Few seconds after the crash, God Almighty gave me a second chance. Life came back to my body again from my legs and I woke up. Came out safe and sound. (4th, June 2019). A new life began.

“I have registered my name on earth thereby fulfilling Part A of my life, Part B is fully dedicated to helping people and serving God.
