Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, the Minister of Interior has debunked reports that there is a rift or misunderstanding between him and Osun state governor, Adegboyega Oyetola.
Rauf Aregbesola is a former governor of Osun State who served the people for eight years before handling over to his chief of staff, Gboyega Oyetola in 2018.
This is coming days after the National Leader of All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu had a closed-door meeting with the Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, Minister for Interior, Rauf Aregbesola and former National Chairman of the ruling party, Chief Bisi Akande.
The former governor said he is not quarrelling with anybody.
This clarification was made by the former governor while fielding questions from reporters in his hometown, Ilesa at the weekend.
Aregbesola said he was away from the state so that he could allow the Oyetola administration to settle down and be focused.
He said he is back in the state to strengthen the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and make it more relevant, adding that he will engage people to make the party grow.
