There was mild tension in a particular area in Osogbo, Osun State on Saturday afternoon as cultist clashed leading to the death of one.
According to reports, some cultist chased a yet to be identified man to Isale-Osun area and he was consequently apprehended at Laro Primary School in Osogbo.
WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that the unidentified man was hacked several times before he was shot dead.
It was gathered that the incident occurred around 2:30 to 3 pm on Saturday.
The remain of the man was later taken by O’Ambulance and deposited at the morgue in Asuniaro General Hospital, Osogbo.
The Public Relations Officer of Osun State Command, Yemisi Opalola confirmed the incident.
She noted that the command was on top of the matter and has opened an investigation on it.
