Young girl lands in detention for allegedly stealing employer’s money to buy new phone

A yet-to-be identified young girl who allegedly stole her employer’s Automated Teller Machine card and withdrew the sum of N80,000 from her account has reportedly landed in detention.

WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that the sad incident occurred in the Gana area of Sapele on Friday, January 29.

Sapele Times reported that the girl gave her mother N10,000 and used the rest of the money to buy herself a new phone.

In other news, WITHIN NIGERIA reported that Florence Owa, a 50-year-old mother of four has reportedly killed herself in Sapele, Delta State, by drinking a poisonous substance suspected to be Sniper.

The sad occurrence happened at No 124 Ogbene Road on Tuesday, January 26, few days after she was discharged from the hospital.

It was gathered that the deceased had been sick for some time and was at home recuperating when one of her children came back and found her unconscious in the sitting room.
