What began as a debate about music and career decisions quickly turned into one of the ugliest celebrity feuds on social media. For two days, media personality N6 and singer Peruzzi exchanged insults, personal attacks and serious allegations on X, dragging fans and fellow celebrities into the drama.
At the peak of the feud, N6 accused Peruzzi of rape, drug abuse, financial struggles and other damaging claims. Peruzzi fired back with allegations of his own, accusing N6 of squatting in his house and using hard drugs.
But just three days later, the feud took an unexpected turn.
On July 16, 2026, N6 publicly apologised to Peruzzi and retracted every allegation he had made, admitting that his claims were false and that he had acted out of anger without verifying the information.
Here’s how the bitter feud unfolded before ending in one of the most surprising public apologies seen in Nigerian entertainment this year.
How It All Started

The latest drama began on July 13, 2026, after N6 reacted to a discussion about Peruzzi’s music career.
N6 argued that Peruzzi had made poor career decisions by giving some of his biggest songs to other artistes instead of keeping them for himself. According to him, the singer should have achieved much more commercially despite being signed to Davido’s DMW label.
In one of his posts, he wrote:
“You dashed your greatest songs out for free. It was a stupid idea… You should be a multi-millionaire in dollars.”
He also claimed Peruzzi had received more opportunities than many artistes but failed to maximise them. What started as criticism of Peruzzi’s career, however, quickly spiralled into something much bigger.
Rather than remain a debate about music, both men began exchanging deeply personal insults. In a series of posts, N6 mocked Peruzzi’s career, finances and lifestyle, while also revisiting disagreements they allegedly had while working together years ago.
Claiming he had helped Peruzzi during the early stages of his career, N6 wrote:
“PantWasher who met me already a legend in the industry begged me to help him blow.”
He also warned that he had more information to reveal, tweeting:
“Today go long for you… I go release documentary on top your head.”
As the exchange continued, the language became more hostile and the accusations more serious.
Serious Allegations Surface
The feud took a more damaging turn when N6 went beyond criticising Peruzzi’s career and made several allegations about the singer’s personal life.
In multiple posts, he described Peruzzi as a rapist, a “registered rapist,” a “sexual degenerate” and a “pedophile.” He repeatedly referenced old online controversies involving the singer and challenged members of the public to search for previous reports.
Among his posts were:
“Remember when we were promoting Nana… and you raped one young girl again and the whole album rollout failed again.”
He also wrote:
“I can prove you are a nationally registered rapist from public records.”
In another post, he urged people to search Peruzzi’s name alongside the word “rapist,” insisting that they would find previous allegations online.
Peruzzi Fires Back

Peruzzi did not stay silent. Responding in several posts, the singer dismissed N6’s accusations and claimed the media personality had held a grudge ever since he was asked to leave his house. Peruzzi wrote:
“Sent you out the crib cos you a… crackie & you been pained ever since.”
He also questioned why N6 allegedly lost his radio job, posting:
“Why Did You Lose Your Job @ The Radio Place? Speak Up Crackieeeeeeeeee!!!!!.”
In another tweet, Peruzzi rejected N6’s version of their relationship, writing:
“Once Dem Pursue You Comot Where You Dey Squat, Na So So Hate Go Full Your Mind.”
According to the singer, N6’s attacks were motivated by resentment after their friendship ended.
N6 denies Peruzzi’s claims
N6 rejected Peruzzi’s allegations, insisting he never squatted in the singer’s house. According to him, he already had official accommodation through his job at Cool FM and only spent time at Peruzzi’s home while helping with music and publicity plans. He wrote:
“How was I squatting in your house when I had a paid Cool FM apartment in VI that everyone knows about?”
N6 also denied using hard drugs, arguing that videos shared by Peruzzi only showed him sleeping after long workdays. He explained:
“So I visit on and off 1–2 days to work on your career on the weekends na squatting? You are sick.”
He further claimed he often visited Peruzzi after finishing his radio show and other work commitments to help with songwriting and promotional strategies.
Odumodublvck Joins The Conversation
As the feud dominated conversations on X, rapper Odumodublvck joined the exchange. Reacting to the back-and-forth, he posted:
“HEY CRACKIE 😂😭 OMO.”
N6 immediately responded, accusing the rapper of trying to benefit from the online controversy. He wrote:
“Welcome back… Tag me don’t be a coward.”
The exchange soon expanded beyond N6 and Peruzzi, with more celebrities and fans weighing in on the controversy.
Day 2: More Screenshots, More Claims
On July 14, N6 returned with fresh posts. He shared screenshots of online search results relating to previous controversies involving Peruzzi and insisted he would continue posting what he described as evidence. According to him:
“I will keep posting facts… Push all your fake narratives.”
The Apology Nobody Saw Coming

Just when many believed the feud would continue, N6 made a dramatic U-turn. On July 16, 2026, he published a lengthy statement apologising to Peruzzi and withdrawing every allegation he had made during the feud.
He began by acknowledging the nature of his earlier posts before stating:
“I hereby retract each and every one of those statements fully and unreservedly. They are false.”
He admitted that everything he had published was baseless and that he had relied on rumours without making any effort to verify them. In his words:
“Everything I published was baseless. I relied on unfounded allegations and rumours which I made no attempt whatsoever to fact-check.”
N6 went further, clearing Peruzzi of the allegations he had repeatedly made just days earlier. He wrote:
“Peruzzi is not a rapist. He is not a registered sex offender of any description. He is not a paedophile. There is no truth in any of the allegations I published about his character, his finances or his family.”
The media personality also admitted that he had wrongly believed Peruzzi insulted him first. Instead, he accepted responsibility for starting the exchange.
“I published those posts in anger because I believed at the time that Peruzzi had insulted me out of the blue. That belief was mistaken. The truth, which I now acknowledge, is that I was the one who first insulted him, and the diatribe that followed from me was entirely unjustified.”
He added that he allowed netizens to encourage him into making more damaging posts.
“I allowed faceless netizens to spur me on, without any reason, and with each post I gave them more to work with. I let detractors take my lies and use them to tarnish Peruzzi’s image, and I take responsibility for having armed them.”
N6 also apologised for mocking Peruzzi’s songwriting career, saying songwriters deserved more respect within the music industry. Finally, he offered an unreserved apology to the singer, his family and fans.
“I sincerely and unreservedly apologise to Peruzzi, to his family and to his fans and colleagues in the music industry for the hurt, embarrassment and damage my posts have caused him.”
He also confirmed that he had deleted the offending posts and promised not to repeat the allegations on any platform.
Conclusion
The clash between N6 and Peruzzi began as a disagreement over music and career decisions but quickly escalated into one of the most explosive celebrity feuds seen on Nigerian social media this year.
Over two days, both men traded insults and personal accusations, drawing widespread attention and dividing public opinion.
However, the story took an unexpected turn when N6 publicly withdrew every allegation, admitted that his claims were false and accepted responsibility for his actions.
While celebrity feuds have become common in the age of social media, complete retractions of serious allegations remain rare. For many observers, N6’s apology marked an unusual ending to a dispute that had seemed destined to drag on, closing one of the entertainment industry’s most talked-about clashes with an admission of wrongdoing rather than another round of insults.
