Decomposing bodies of two children found in abandoned car in Delta

Delta State Police Command have uncovered the decomposing corpses of two children inside an abandoned Honda Rover.

The Acting Police Public Relations Officer for the Delta State Command, DSP Edafe Bright disclosed this on Saturday in a signed press statement .

He said the two corpses were those of Kelvin izakpa ‘m’ aged 10yrs and Fega Izakpa ‘m’ aged 7yrs. They were the children of the late Meshach Izakpa, who were staying with their mother before their disappearance.

Bright added that the Abraka Police Station got information on Friday that two decomposing corpses of children were sighted in a Honda Rover with registration no AG 815 BKW parked at the pathway of the house of one Eniku Aghogho Tayo ‘m’ age 35yrs, but resides in Warri, who happens to be the owner of the said vehicle.

The Divisional Police Officer, CSP Aliyu Shaba, led police operatives to the scene immediately and evacuated the corpses.

The acting police spokesman also said that the decomposing corpses were later handed over to the family for burial while the suspect, Eniku Aghogho Tayo has been arrested, and the said vehicle impounded, the Acting PPRO stated explaining that investigation was ongoing on the matter.
