Notorious bandit leader, Auwalun Daudawa who masterminded the kidnapping of over 300 students of Government Science Secondary School Kankara, Katsina State last December has been killed by rival gang.

The Zamfara State Commissioner for Security and Home Affairs, Abubakar Dauran, confirmed his death.

According to Channels Television, Daudawa was reportedly shot dead by a rival gang while on a revenge mission.

The notorious bandit leader had laid down his arms and accepted Governor Bello Matawalle’s peace initiative in February 2021 but a few days ago, he went back into the trenches to continue his banditry.
