Security operatives including hunters have apprehended two suspected kidnappers in Akoko area of Ondo state.
WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that one of the two suspects was nabbed inside the forest in Ikaram Akunu axis while efforts were on to rescue two farmers who were kidnapped last week.
According to report, one of the suspected kidnappers appeared as someone with mental disorder but spoke fluent English during questioning about his activities in the area. When searched, ATM cards, soap box, black dresses and black underwears were discovered on him.
A source disclosed that the second suspect was arrested at Ajowa Akoko and an army identity card was found on him.
When contacted, the police public relations officer, ASP Tee-Leo Ikoro confirmed the arrest.
The PPRO also said they’ve intensified effort to rescue the two farmers.
