“When our men were called for rescue operation, they responded and evacuated the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital, Bauchi for medical attention.

“It was there that a medical doctor confirmed two of them dead. The two injured persons are responding to treatment,” he said.

The FRSC boss said that the corpses of the deceased were deposited at the mortuary after which they would be released to their families for burial.

Meanwhile, he assured that the FRSC will continue to do its best in ensuring the safety of lives and properties on the highway.

He, therefore, called on motorists to obey road traffic regulations to reduce accidents in the state.
