Truck crushes motorcyclist to death in Ogun

A motorcyclist popularly known as Okada rider lost his live after he was hit by a truck on Idiroko road in Ota area of Ogun state.

The Sango-Ota Area Commander of the Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE), Mr. Adekunle Ajibade told newsmen that the accident occurred at about 8.05 a.m on Friday, NAN reports.

Ajibade said the remains of the deceased had been handed over to his family members.

The TRACE Area Commander also appealed to motorists to avoid driving against traffic to avoid unnecessary loss of lives.

“We urge truck drivers to maintain an average speed limit to curtail road mishaps.

”We also send our condolences to the family members of the victim and pray to God to grant them the fortitude to bear the loss,” he said.
