Six things you probably do not know about NDA attack

In the early hours of Tuesday, August 24, Bandits invaded the permanent site of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna.

The Defence Academy has also confirmed the bandits attack and disclosed that two military personnels were killed and one other was abducted.

Here are five things you probably do not know about the surprising attack:

1. The bandits sneaked in after breaching the perimeter fence and went straight to the officer’s living quarters, shooting sporadically.

2. They kidnapped one officer identified as Major Datong.

3. They reportedly killed two officers Lt Cdr Wulah and Flt Lt CM Okoronwo.

4. 2nd Lt Onah sustained gunshot injury and is receiving treatment.

5. Gallant troops of the Armed Forces of Nigeria (AFN), in joint operations, are in hot pursuit of the armed bandits that attacked the officers’ quarters.

6. Reliable sources in the academy disclosed that military personnel in charge of CCTV were asleep as the bandits attacked the academy.
