Some unknown gunmen suspected to be bandits terrorizing some parts of Kaduna State have attacked the Zango community in Samaru, Zaria town and kidnapped an unspecified number of residents.

WITHIN NIGERIA gathered that the incident occurred on Friday morning when the attackers stormed the community with sophisticated weapons, shooting sporadically before whisking the victims away from the scene.

The operation, which lasted for over 30 minutes, occurred at about 1 am when most residents were fast asleep.
