The Court did not take his plea after the prosecutor, Supol Raji Akeem, asked the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for advice.

The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. E. Kubeinje, denied him bail and ordered his remand in Correctional Centre while directing the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send to the DPP.

The matter was adjourned till 5th November, 2021, for the report of DPP’s advice to be ready, which will determine if the matter will be transferred to the High Court or not over jurisdiction.
