Police arrest three suspected cultists in Delta

The Oghara Division of the Delta State Police Command has arrested a 22-year-old suspected cultist, Davidson Umukoro, along Ajagbodudu road in Oghara.

The Commissioner of Police, Ari Muhammed Ali, confirmed the arrest in a statement signed by Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe.

He said, “The suspect who wore red berrett and red wristwatch confessed to being a member of Vikings confraternity.”

In the same vein, the police also arrested two other suspected cultists, Awe Clever (38yrs)and Iwaire Success (22yrs).

They were arrested under the palm trees close to Patos Hotels in Oghara while others escaped into the bush.

DSP Edafe said, “the suspects were wearing their secret cult attire of red caps and customized t-shirt.

“Efforts are on to arrest the fleeing members of the group.”
