Police arrest three suspected armed robbers, recover fabricated pistol in Delta

Operatives of the Operation Delta Hawk, OPDH, have arrested three suspected armed robbers at Bonsaac General Area in Asaba, Delta State.

The suspects include Chuks Abah (23yrs),Ogbonna Michael (37yrs) and Amechi Mordi (22yrs).

They also recovered one locally-fabricated double barrel pistol from a bag allegedly belonging to the rider, Chuks Abah.

The suspects were intercepted by the Police on a blue Qlink 150 motorcycle with Reg. No. Delta LEH 259 QN and Eng. No. QL162FNJ-1.

The Delta State Police Command, led by CP Ari Muhammed Ali, confirmed the arrest in a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe.

The police image maker said the suspects were arrested after a “reasonable suspicion” and search was carried out.
