Some unknown armed men suspected to be robbers in the early hours of Wednesday, November 3, attacked Nuku village in the Kaiama Local Government of Kwara State, leaving the villagers with tears.

The robbers suspected to be Fulani, who sources claimed invaded the community looking for money, were disappointed and furious after discovering that there was “nothing on ground for them to steal.”

According to reports, irked by the situation, the bandits left residents with machete injuries and raped minors.

Two members of the community, identified as Alhaji Hassan Woru, who was the head of the family; and his brother, Yunusa Woru, were attacked with machete by the robbers.
