No fewer than 30 persons have been feared dead following a road crash that occurred in Adamawa State.
The accident occurred Wednesday evening on the busy Yola-Gombe road where two passenger buses had a head-on collision.
A witness said Wednesday night that the buses ran into each other while trying to dodge potholes.
The witness added that the buses belonged to the fleet of Adamawa Sunshine and its Gombe Line counterpart.
Both are transport companies operating long-distance travelling buses and smaller cabs.
WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that the Yola-Gombe highway which connects Adamawa State with the southern part of the country, is in a bad shape, with most sections around Adamawa State ridden with potholes.
