Bride dies on her wedding day in Kano

A Nigerian lady, Hannatu Yahaya, died on her wedding day in Kawon Maigari, Kano state, on Saturday, November 27.

The deceased, who was in her 30s got married to her husband, Isyaka Yusuf on the same day.

According to family members, Hannatu began to act in a berserk manner when she was about to be taken to her husband’s house, as she started destroying properties. Family members began to pray for her and then rushed her to the hospital where she was confirmed dead.

LIB reports that a family member said two weeks ago, Hannatu who battled an ulcer, fell ill and was taken to the hospital. There, she was placed on admission for a week and then discharged. On Thursday, November 25, she fell ill again and was treated. However, things took a drastic turn on Saturday while she was about to be taken to her husband‘s house.

She was buried on Sunday morning, November 28.
