Two of the remaining employees of Kaduna State’s Zaria Local Government Area who were kidnapped along with other council employees have been released by their kidnappers.

WITHIN NIGERIA recalls that the two employees were held by their abductors, who demanded three motorcycles before their release.

On November 8, 2021, 13 local government employees were kidnapped by bandits in Kidandan, Giwa Local Government Area of the state, while on their way to pay their respects to Dogara Abdullahi, a staff member who had lost his father.

According to a source who requested anonymity, Suleiman Zailani and Nura Mohammed were released from captivity on Thursday, December 2, following the delivery of the three motorcycles to the kidnappers.
