Gunmen have reportedly kidnapped the mother of Governor Yahaya Bello’s Chief of Staff, Abdulkarim Jamiu Asuku at her residence in Nagazi community, under Adavi Local Government Area of Kogi State.

The incident was said to have happened on Monday evening after she observed evening (Ishai) prayer.

According to Daily Post, a resident of Inese/Ovakere new layout in Nagazi community, where Mrs Seriya Raji resided, said the gunmen stormed her residence at about 7:40 p.m shortly after she observed evening (Ishai) prayer in her mosque within the house.

The source said the abductors were six in number, dressed in black suits with masks and holding a ‘Ghana Must Go’ bag suspected to have contained guns and other dangerous weapons.
