Shooting Stars Sports Club General Manager

The General Manager of Shooting Stars Sports Club, also known as 3SC, Mr. Rasheed Balogun is dead.

WITHIN NIGERIA gathered that the GM died on Thursday in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

He died after spending weeks in bed as a result of serious sickness.

A close source to the family said, “We lost the 3SC GM a few hours ago. May he rest in peace”.

3SC is an Ibadan-based football club.

In other reports, defending champions, Algeria have crashed out of the ongoing African Cup of Nations (AFCON), in Cameroon after losing 3-1 to Ivory Coast in their last group match on Thursday evening.

Algeria failed to qualify to the next round of the tournament after securing just one point in their two previous games against Sierra Leone.
