A 30-year-old man identified simply as Femi is said to be on the run after he allegedly killed a woman on her farm on Monday in Moniya, Akinyele Local Government Area of Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
According to Daily Trust, Femi and the deceased had some unresolved issues before the family met the lifeless body of the woman on the farm. The suspect is said to have gone into hiding and remained incommunicado.
Residents claim he fled Ibadan for Ife in Osun state after the incident.
The Oyo State Police Command is yet to react to the incident as at the time of filing this report.
