The Katsina State Police Command paraded sixteen suspects on Monday, including two accused kidnappers.

Usman Abubakar, 22, and Yusufa Ibrahim, 30, were seized on 9th February, 2022, following phone calls they made to one Abdulbasiru Salisu of Shema village in the state’s Dutsinma Local Government Area, according to the state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Gambo Isah.

Salisu was allegedly intimidated by the suspects to put N250,000 into a bank account number or risk being abducted, according to the PRRO.

He added that the suspects were later traced and apprehended.
