Katsina State Commissioner for Health, Nuhu Danja was among those shot in the Kaduna-Abuja train attack on Monday night.
An official in the State Ministry of Health, Ibrahim Almu Gafai confirmed this on Tuesday March 29.
According to Channels Television, sources said the commissioner of health was shot in the leg.
WITHIN NIGERIA had earlier reported that suspected terrorists detonated a bomb on the rail track of an Abuja-Kaduna train on Monday evening.
This publication also reported that two cleaners and workers of the attacked Abuja-Kaduna train identified as Loretta and Abdul, reportedly lost their lives and their corpses deposited at St. Gerald’s Catholic Hospital in Kaduna.
A female medical doctor, Megafu Chinelo, who was meant to travel out of the country on Friday was also killed in the Abuja-Kaduna train attack on Monday.
