Angry neighbours beat suspected thief to death in front of his mother in Ghana

30-year-old suspected thief, Nana Kwadwo Duah, was beaten to death in front of his mother in Takoradi, the capital of the Western Region of Ghana.

According to local news platforms, eyewitnesses said the suspect was beaten by their neighbours in Fijai for stealing.

The deceased was said to have been terrorising residents of Fijai for far too long with stealing.

The tragic incident was said to have occurred when the neighbours found him stealing again around 3 a.m. on Wednesday April 6, and decided to put an end to it.

It was gathered that his mother’s tears and appeals were insufficient to stop him from getting jungle justice.

His distraught mother revealed that her son was stealing to pay a debt created from a television set he stole from another neighbour.
