The Jigawa State Hisbah Board has arrested 10 suspected commercial sex workers in Sule-Tankarkar Local Government Area of the state.
This was contained in a statement signed by the command’s Public Relations Officer, Muhammad Sale Korau on Wednesday.
He said those arrested included five men and five women in a raid carried out by Hisbah personnel in Friday House, at Sule-Tankarkar town.
Korau added that the personnel have also succeeded and seized bottles of alcohol.
He said the suspects were handed over to police for further investigation.
Korau, therefore, reiterated the command’s commitments to fight illegal activities across the state.
