Samuel Anyanwu, the National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Saturday stated that his party would form government at the centre in 2023.

This was stated by Ayanwu at a town hall meeting at his country home at Amaimo in the Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo state.

Anyanwu said that the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, would defeat the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Ahmed Tinubu.

Anyanwu also dispelled the rumour that his party would disintegrate because of the crisis rocking PDP.

He also urged his people to mobilise themselves and get their Permanent Voters Cards.

According to him, APC had misruled the country, adding that the only party ready to take over the leadership of the country was PDP.

He said ” Atiku is the next president of Nigeria. Our party will defeat APC. We are prepared to takeover leadership. Our presidential candidate is prepared and will repair Nigeria.”

He also canvassed support for the PDP candidates in the state, adding that Nigerians were tired of the APC.
