A lady identified as Loveth was dispossessed of her belongings by four men and pushed out of moving car which boarded at Bolade area of Oshodi, Lagos State.
The State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, who disclosed this in a Twitter post said after a patrol team gave a chase, the men abandoned their vehicle and fled.
The PPRO further stated that two were arrested and the car was recovered.
However, one of the robbery suspects complained of a shortage of breath resulting from the chase and was taken to the hospital.
Hundeyin explained that he was treated and referred elsewhere for lack of bed space.
“He died on the way. The other suspect, Akuku Tony is assisting the Police in the ongoing investigation”, he added.
