Two persons have died in a road accident that occurred along the Lagos-Ibadan highway on Thursday.
The crash occurred at about 03:20 pm, opposite Deeper Life Bible Church, Ogun State.
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) said the crash involved a Toyota Hilux, with registration number, MU906CV and another with no registration number on it.
The FRSC spokesperson in Ogun, Florence Okpe, said four men were involved in the incident.
“No injury was sustained, but unfortunately two persons were recorded dead from the crash,” Okpe said.
She blamed the crash on excessive speed, which she said led to loss of control on the part of the Hilux driver, “who ran into a moving vehicle.”
Okpe added that the corpses have been deposited at Famobis Hospital morgue.
