Kazeem Olafisoye and Owolabi Usman were found guilty of conspiracy and armed robbery, and the court in Ado Ekiti sentenced them to death by hanging and life in prison, respectively.

Before Justice Adekunle Adeleye, the two inmates were accused on three counts and arraigned.

According to the charge, the convicts and one other now at large robbed one Odo Charity and her household of the sum of ₦40,000 at gun point and attempted to murder Ugwe Ebuka by macheting him at Ekute, Ado Ekiti.

The first convict was overpowered by good samaritans in the neighbourhood whilst the other gang members ran away.
