One of the state’s House of Representatives candidates, Hon. Jacob Funmi Ogunmola, has reportedly passed away, according to reports from the Oke Ogun geopolitical zone in Oyo State.
For the Atisbo/Saki West/Saki East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives in 2023, Ogunmola served as the nominee up until his death.

According to information made available , Ogunmola is a native of the Ago Are local government area in Atisbo.
Ogunmola passed away shortly after attending a function in Saki on Sunday, sources disclosed on Monday.
The politician allegedly complained that he wasn’t feeling well, and as a result, he was transported to Lagos for medical care.
Ogunmola reportedly passed away while being transported from Saki to Lagos.
