“Imagine for this Christmas, many of our sons and daughters are not coming back home because of security reasons. They are afraid that they might be kidnapped or even killed by these criminals in our community. Few weeks ago they kidnapped one man and demanded N4m ransom which was later paid.”

However, parading the suspects in their office before handing over to the police, one of the suspects, Jude Odo explained that his boss simply known as Ifeainachi and another kingpin Chikodili Mamah have run away.

” My boss is Ifeainachi and his friend Chikodili Mamah have run away with the N4m ransom paid to us last week. We didn’t collect any reasonable money from them because they have cheated us.”

Asked the source of their arms and ammunition, Odo told the Neighborhood Watch personnel that ” it is my boss that supplies us with those materials. We don’t know where and how they get them.”

Our source explained that the two suspected kidnappers at large, Ifeainachi and Chikodili Mamah have been declared wanted by the security agents, even as manhunt on criminals elements in the area has been intensified.
