Photos of a Lagos lawyer, Bolanle Raheem, who was killed by a police officer in the state’s Ajah area, have surfaced on social media.

According to sources, the lawyer was shot by the officer around the Ajah Bridge area on Sunday, as previously reported by WITHIN NIGERIA.

The bullet from the police officer’s gun entered her car and struck Raheem.

Despite being rushed to the hospital following the incident, she did not survive and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

According to one version of the unfortunate incident, the lawyer, her sister, and children were driving home from an eatery around 11 a.m. when a police officer attempted to stop them but shot at the driver.

According to another report, the woman and her family were returning from church when the police opened fire on her and fled the scene.

Meanwhile, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the incident, calling it regrettable and avoidable.
