Many people escaped death as a truck loaded with ginger skidded off the road and crashed after the driver fell asleep at Nahuta in Darazo Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
The accident was said to have occurred Thursday morning with the truck spilling its content on the road.
According to PUNCH, an eyewitness, Mu’azu Hardawa, said that the truck driver allegedly slept off while driving.
“I learnt that the driver slept off while driving and he lost control,” Hardawa said.
He said that the trailer took off with its content from Kafancan in Kaduna State and was heading to Maiduguri, Borno State.
Hardawa said that “No death or serious injury was recorded during the accident.”
