Armed political thugs in the campaign vehicles of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Lagos State gubernatorial candidate, Dr. Abdul-Azeez Adediran, popularly known as (Jandor), have clashed with their opponents in Lagos once more.
WITHIN NIGERIA reports that a fierce gun battle with the opposition party occurred on Friday, January 27, 2023, in the Aguda area of Surulere.
The thugs with the PDP campaign vehicles were seen shooting sporadically in the viral video.
The thugs were also said to have attacked some residents of the area with guns and machetes, while some netizens claimed that opposition party thugs were sent to attack Jandor and his security retaliated.

Meanwhile, Jandor’s convoy was attacked on Wednesday in the Ikosi-Isheri area of the local government, and another attack occurred the same day on Oworo Road in the Oworosonki area.
According to news reports, the hoodlums threw stones and other dangerous objects at the campaign team.
Thugs were also said to have denied Adediran and his campaign team access to some parts of the state if security officers had not intervened.
Similar attacks have also occurred in Badagry, Agege, and Ikorodu since Adediran began his tour of the state’s 245 wards on October 19, 2022.
Funke Akindele, Jandor’s running mate, was also escorted out of the Kosofe fruit market on Tuesday.
Hakeem Amode, the Lagos State PDP Publicity Director, told reporters that the attacks were not good for the country’s democracy.
