It was gathered that the incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon when the bandits attacked Agwa community in Rafi LGA.

According to PUNCH, an eyewitness, Mallam Audu, said the bandits were carrying out the attack when a military team on patrol engaged them in a gun battle.

He stated that more than 50 people were kidnapped while many villagers were injured as they scampered to safety.

“Many people, more than 50 were kidnapped and others were wounded as they were running away from the bandits,” he added.
