Gunmen have kidnapped an Assistant Superintendent of Nigeria Immigration Service, Imojara Godwin Imojara, and two others on the Ikom-Calabar highway.

Imojara was kidnapped yesterday afternoon while he was travelling to Ogoja where he was posted for Saturday’s governorship election.

The Immigration officer was amongst other travellers in a Toyota Corolla vehicle when the kidnappers struck and took him and two others away.

According to Daily Post, sources said the abductors have demanded N50 million naira as ransom before the officer would be released.
