A 22-year-old man simply identified as Nura has allegedly been killed by a stray bullet from a vigilante member’s gun in Minna, Niger State.

Nura was said to have been hit by the gunshot fired by a member of a voluntary security outfit known as Anti-Drug Corps (ADC) and Niger State Vigilantes Corps which also injured four others, including a little girl hawking vegetables in Dutsen-Kura Hausa Area of Minna.

It was gathered that the incident happened around 1 pm on Thursday when the private security guards trailed some students of Zarumai Model School Minna, who were in the habit of street fights, to the area.

According to Daily Trust, sources said the students were fighting when they sighted the vigilantes and men of the ADC, who opened fire while attempting to arrest them.
