22-year-old, Friday Nwaboyi, has been remanded to the Ikoyi Correctional Centre for stealing a three-year-old child, Suraji Abdulkadiri in the Ijora Badia, Lagos State.

The charge read in part, “That you, Friday Nwaboyi, and others at large, on February 26, 2023, around 6.45 pm at No 21 Ireti Owoseni Street, Ijora Badia, Lagos, in the Lagos Magisterial District did unlawfully steal one Suraji Abdulkadiri, aged three-year-old, to an unknown destination and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 277 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State, Nigeria, 2015.”
