A youth leader and a strong member of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief Sylvester Eferhobo, has been hacked to death in Agbarho community, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
It was gathered that the incident occurred on Sunday night after the deceased was called out of his house by his assailants.
According to Daily Post, a source said, “Immediately he came out, his killers who were fully armed, shot at him several times, but the bullets could not penetrate him.
“The assailants dragged him to a nearby bush where they axed him to death.”
Efethobo was recently conferred with a Chieftaincy title by HRM Ajuwe Samson Ogugu 1, the Osuivie of Agbarho Kingdom.
According to residents, Efethobo’s death is linked to cult-related issues.
As of the time of filing this report, most shops within and outside the Agbarho market have been shut down for fear of being attacked by hoodlums.
The Police are yet to comment on the matter.
