A middle-aged yet-to-be identified woman has been swept to death by ravaging flood in Anambra state following a heavy down pour in the area.
WITHIN NIGERIA source revealed that the incident happened along Ekwulobia/Oko express way on Wednesday evening.
Our source equally explained that ” there was heavy rain in Ekwulobia/Oko axis for more than three hours.
“Few minutes after the rain, the body of a middle-aged woman was seen floating on the water that has flooded the entire road.
“There was nothing to identify because her bag and handset were no where to be found. They might have been carried away by the flood too.”
However, a statement issued by the Federal Polytechnic, Oko verified Facebook account stated that “flood just killed this woman along Ekwulobia/ OKO axis Anambra. Her body has been deposited at Chukwunonso hospital, Oko.
“Her bag and phone was carried by Flood. Pls share so we can get to her family to claim her body.”
