- Haruna called on the State Governor, Sen. Bala Mohammed, and the Federal Government to urgently order the deployment of more security agencies to the local government to fish out the criminals

In the Gumau hamlet of the Toro Local Government Area of Bauchi State, two people have been allegedly kidnapped by armed men.
According to reports, the shooters fired into the air to frighten the neighbourhood before snatching up the victims in the early hours of Saturday.
The representative for the Toro Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Dabo Ismail Haruna, responded to the development by denouncing the most recent kidnapping.
After a period of respite, he claimed the bandits have returned to terrorise villages by repeatedly kidnapping people for ransom.
He, however, assured the constituents of legislative interventions that will end the unfortunate incidents adding that the spate of kidnappings in the Toro Federal constituency has called for great concern in the state.
Sen. Bala Mohammed, the governor of the state, and the federal government were urged by Haruna to urgently order the dispatch of more security agencies to the local government to apprehend offenders.
Before publishing this story, I left messages and made calls to Ahmed Wakili, the state police command’s spokesman, asking him to confirm the occurrence.
