  • Imo State NNPP gubernatorial candidate promises to replicate Senator Kwankwaso’s achievements in Kano, focusing on economic development and education
  • He vows to run a transparent administration, ensuring accountability and responsible use of resources for Imo’s development

Uche Ben Odunzeh, the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) candidate for the November 11 gubernatorial election in Imo State, has stated that if elected, he will replicate Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso’s achievements in Kano State.

Kwankwaso was Kano state governor from 1999 to 2003 and again from 2011 to 2015.

The promise was made recently by the NNPP Governorship Candidate during a meeting with the Imo State Network of Good Governance, a nonpartisan organization dedicated to promoting good governance.

The nonpartisan organization previously paid a courtesy call on the Governorship Candidate to learn about his plans for Imo citizens and to identify areas where they could collaborate with him in his ambition.

Welcoming his visitor, Odunzeh stated that Ndi-imo’s low living standards inspire him and that his administration will end maladministration and poor governance structure.

He promised to replicate the achievements of former Kano State Governor and NNPP National Leader in Imo State.

He stated that Kano is now experiencing unprecedented economic development due to the foundations laid by Kwankwaso.

We will replicate the legacies of Senator Kwankwaso our National leader in Kano state. His modest achievement is very visible to all and that has contributed to the commercial city the state is today.

On the area of Education, he sponsored medical students and Engineering students abroad for advanced education and today those people has grown to become independence and contributing to the socioeconomic growth of their state.

If I am not mistaken, Kano state has the greatest number of indigenous pilots today in Nigeria and that is what we intend to replicate in imo state by intentionally empowering our people.

I am not coming to steal your money. I will run an open door policies and ensure that every Kobo will be accounted for and judiciously utilized.
