  • Naibi stated that the current working relationship between the police and the commission is unalterable and unavoidable.
  • The familiarisation visit to the police commissioner was influenced by the existing relationship between the two agencies.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has been assured of a cordial relationship in Enugu State by the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).

Mr. Kanayo Uzuegbu, the state’s commissioner of police, provided the assurance while meeting Mr. Aliyu Naibi, the EFCC’s Enugu Zonal Commander, who paid him a familiarisation visit on Friday.

“I give you my word that the existing cordial working relationship between the police and the commission in Enugu State shall remain unbroken.

“In fact, be rest assured that I will always treat all collaborative requests to aid your activities with dispatch,” Uzuegbu said.

Earlier, Naibi noted that the existing working relationship between the police and the commission was immutable and unavoidable.
