NSCDC Arrests Five Suspects, Seizes 5,500 Litres Of Diesel In Imo

The NSCDC confirmed this while sharing some photos of the operation on its official Facebook page on Saturday.

  • The operation was conducted by the NSCDC Commandant General’s Special Intelligence Squad.
  • It displayed the seized diesel containers and four saloon cars impounded during the operation.

In Oguta, Imo State, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, or NSCDC, has successfully detained five people and seized a load of 5,500 litres of automotive petrol oil, or diesel.

The Special Intelligence Squad of the NSCDC Commandant General carried out the operation.

This was verified by the NSCDC on Saturday while posting a few images from the operation on its official Facebook page.

Four saloon cars that were impounded during the investigation were on display, together with the seized diesel containers.

“The Commandant General’s Special Intelligence Squad (CG SIS) arrested five suspects, impounded four saloon cars, and confiscated about 5,500 litres of suspected illegally refined AGO being transported to Onitsha from Obah Agwa autonomous community Oguta, Imo State,” the statement reads.
