One Yakubu Mamza has hanged himself in Nigeria’s northeast state of Adamawa.
The middle-aged man lifeless body was found hanging from the gallows around his house in the early hours of Thursday.
The deceased, who lived in Jimeta, Yola, left behind three female children.
The suicide comes roughly two days after a young lady in Girei Local Government Area took her own life after drinking a deadly insecticide chemical in a tragic reaction to the death of her boyfriend.
Locals familiar with the incident said the late Yakubu Mamza was separated from his wife about two years ago and had been living a lonely life since then.
He was staying in an uncompleted building at a community in Jimeta named 80 Housing Estate, in Yola Nirth LGA where he hanged himself on the edge of a wall.
The police have not issued a statement on the incident as at press time.
