It was gathered that the sacked commissioner was released after all the investigations by the State CID of the Police Command.

Atulegwu was granted bail to enable him reunite with his family after over a month.

However, a source from Imo Government House, Owerri, who spoke in confidence with newsmen, disclosed that more actions and investigations were ongoing on the matter.

According to the source, he will be called upon immediately after the festive period for more questioning and thereafter charged to a court of competent jurisdiction.
