Lagos State counsel, Mr Ola Azeez, told the court that Udom unlawfully stabbed to death one Mr Moses Joseph on November 4, 2022, at Igando in the state.

The judge remanded the defendant and adjourned the case until March 4 for trial.

Similarly, the judge remanded one Labaran Abdulahi, who allegedly unlawfully killed one Mr Abba Lucky, aged 22, at a market in the Ipaja area of the state.

Azeez said that the defendant stabbed the deceased in the neck on April 13, 2023.

The murder charge was interpreted to Abdullahi in the Hausa Language, and he pleaded not guilty.

Murder contravenes Section 223 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015 and is punishable with death
