An attack by gunmen on a community in Ikorodu local government area of Lagos state has claimed two people lives.
The rampaging gunmen also reportedly abducted a yet-to-be-identified woman during the Wednesday attack.

The police in Lagos confirmed the incident, saying that four members of a vigilante group were also injured during the incident.
In a video clip making the rounds on social media, a male voice was heard speaking about the incident in his area.
“Kidnapping is happening right now in Igbe-Alagemo. What is all this? They have kidnapped two people. They are in the bush, they are the ones shooting,” the voice said.
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the incident on Thursday, saying “two persons died, four others were injured, and one woman was kidnapped”.
