  • Hajiya Rabi Salisu assured support for efforts led by Governor Uba Sani to ensure the children’s safe return

The Kaduna State government has reiterated its commitment to ensuring the safe return of all 287 school children abducted from Kuriga. Hajiya Rabi Salisu, the Commissioner of Human Services and Social Development, affirmed this pledge during a peace walk organized by the CLEEN Foundation to mark International Women’s Day.

“We are fully behind your efforts; the 287 kidnapped children will be reunited with their families. Governor Uba Sani is tirelessly coordinating efforts to ensure their safe return,” stated Hajiya Rabi Salisu.

In the same vein, the CLEEN Foundation and other stakeholders have pledged their support to advance the cause of Nigerian women. They emphasized the importance of gender-responsive policies and creating an inclusive society where equal opportunities and rights are upheld.

This commitment was made during a two-day training workshop, ‘Policy Dialogue on State Gender Responsive Frameworks and Practices,’ organized by the CLEEN Foundation in collaboration with the Norwegian Embassy and UN Women, which was recently held in Kaduna.
